As I begin to explore more into my own zine project, I thought about block printing and the great things I can include in my zine.
So I have ventured out and attempted my first cuts on a Lino Block. I am pleased and excited to see the results. I’m sure I have a lot of practice ahead of me before I begin to produce some really bad ass prints.
A few weeks back I drew out a piece for Lifeform.co that I wanted to come back and vector out. So the last few days I have been working to finish up this Demon piece.
I drew lots of inspiration from the Japanese demon style tattoos as well as the samurai mask color schemes. I didn’t do much with the background just to keep focus on the main character but the end result is great.
Here is the original drawing.
Here you can see the final inked version or vectored version ready for color.
Finally the end result.
This week’s topic at Lifeform.co: Bonanza
I have to say I truly enjoy the weekly challenges. It’s been a great way to really allow me to focus on drawing weekly and daily. Yet another challenging topic this week but I feel like I nailed it pretty good.

2017 has arrived and I have been working hard to have the site up an running with content. First off, I can’t thank you all enough for visiting the site and supporting when you purchase art work.
Well, I hope to have more content up soon and begin to build a blog for you all to read. I can’t promise it will be a daily blog post but I do promise to add content as often as possible.
See you soon.
